How to map PDF fields to a web form
Mapping is the whole trick: draw boxes on your existing PDF, connect them to form answers, and keep the completed original document as the output.
What “mapping” actually means
You are not rebuilding the PDF as a new template. You are telling Yolvan where each answer should land.
Classic fillable PDFs put the interaction inside the file. Mapping flips that: people fill a normal web form, and the PDF becomes the receipt — still looking like the document your process already knows how to file.
In Yolvan, each placement is a rectangle on a PDF page, owned by a form question (or a field inside a repeater row). On submit, text, checks, and signatures are written into those boxes.

You do not have to map every decorative line. Map the answers your process actually stores and reviews.
